Are there any limitations from a front-end perspective?
As with any software, Site Studio cannot cover every possible requirement. There are some things that can't be created using Site Studio.
The following lists some items that cannot be created using Site Studio:
- Templates for fields (field formatters)
- Templates for controllers. For example, the login form.
- Custom CSS 3 animations. This is on the Site Studio roadmap.
- Complex custom javascript interactivity.
- Form layouts. We recommend using the Webforms module and using Site Studio to style the elements with classes.
- You cannot use Site Studio to layout React (or other framework) design systems.
